Citizen Science is a rapidly growing program - encouraging anyone to be a scientist by recording their observations of the environment on central "database" websites.

School of Ornithology (study of birds) which promotes this weekend as the "Great Backyard Bird Count" every year (see below). They also demonstrate (through videos and data) how bird populations and migrations are directly related to
climate change.
