Welcome to "Distance Learning"
If you made it this far, you're right on track! It would be a good idea to "bookmark" this page on your web browser so you can come back to it easily and often.
Below, you will see circle icons for each of the academic departments at Freedom High School. When you click on any of those, you will see another list of subjects in each department. Everything is linked to where teachers will be posting their instructions and methods of communication for each subject area.
Most "core" subjects/teachers are using online materials that can be accessed through the Clever website. Students, use your student ID# for both your username and password when you log in.
Teachers are also sharing a lot files on Microsoft "OneDrive". If you have trouble logging in to your student Microsoft account to access those files, your username should be [Student ID#]@luhsd.net, and the password is your birthday YYYYMMDD [Year-Month-Day] - just like logging in to our school computers. CLICK HERE to see an example.
Quite a few teachers will be taking advantage of this web-casting video-chat program for lectures and class discussions. Students can access these webinars on computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Go to ZOOM.us, click "Join a Meeting" at the top, and enter the Meeting ID# and Password provided by your teacher. PLEASE be sure to follow basic meeting etiquette (CLICK HERE) as if you were actually in a classroom. More tips in the infographic below...
