Drivers' Education LEEI@LUHSD.NET
I trust that you are well. I miss you guys very much! As you know, we will be beginning our distance learning on April 6th. All of your teachers, including myself will be posting weekly assignments on the school webpage. You can find the assignments on the “Academics” tab on Freedom High’s webpage. I will attach a step by step guide on how to check for your assignments.
For Drivers’ Education, we will be using the California Driver Handbook 2020 version, which you can find online. https://www.dmv.ca.gov/web/eng_pdf/dl600.pdf Your job will be to complete the guided reading questions. All you would need is a device to access the worksheet and the California Driver Handbook. It might help to do the assignments using a device, such a Microsoft word so that you can easily turn them in via email. However, if you do not have such capacity, you can also send me a detailed photo of the written assignment as well.
I know that some of you may have missing assignments or late work to turn in. Do not worry, you will be allowed to turn those assignments in. Someone can drop the assignments off at the school or you can take detailed photos of the assignments and turn them in via email.
These are strange times but I promise our goals have not changed. Let’s continue to study and work, and as long as you do not have a failing grade by the end of the school year I will write you a certificate of completion (Pink Slip).
I understand that all these changes will take little time getting used to, so let’s work together and communicate to make this work. I am here to help you and support you. I am excited to finish the rest of the school year with you!
If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact me via email or remind. I am also planning on having office hours via zoom in the near future.
Make sure you stay safe and healthy!
