    Serving the Community by Learning
The P.H.D. Academy is an academic organization and club that helps students become college and career ready in the area of public service. Members attend regular meetings and participate in school wide events like Safe Halloween, Career Night and Falcon Fest. Freedom High School students in the P.H.D. Academy are guided in their course selection for their academic major of their choice and will complete an E-portfolio in the last quarter of their senior year.
Completion of the senior portfolio results in the earning of an Academy medal that can be worn at graduation, and out of those people, two people will be selected for the opportunity to receive a scholarship.
