• Dear choir families,

    As we share our Virtual Spring Choral Concert, I wanted to take a moment to mention a couple of things:

    First of all, I want to acknowledge the hard work that many of our students put into this.  This situation is obviously not what anyone signed up for, and I'm sure everyone realizes how much more difficult it is to sing alone in front of a camera rather than with a large group of classmates in front of a supportive audience.

    I have been inspired and impressed by the creative ways that many of my students have been able to turn this situation into a positive one.

    To the seniors; I wanted to say that I have truly appreciated having you in my classes over the years, and I wish you the very best in the future!  Obviously I would much rather say this in person, but I am looking forward to seeing what you accomplish with your lives as you go out into the real world!  I have every confidence that you all will make this world a better place.

    As always, I wanted to say thank you to our fantastic pianist Catherine Seter Thompson!  We all appreciate her talents, and we are so thankful for her hard work especially during this time.

    We also want to say a special thank you to our student teacher (from my own alma mater The University of the Pacific), Lee Kaj.  This has got to be the absolute worst semester to be a student teacher, but Lee has consistently come through with flying colors.  Best of luck to Lee as well!

    Thank you to everyone for your understanding and flexibility throughout these trying times.  It has been difficult for everyone, but I know that we will all get through this together, and will come out stronger on the other side.

    I truly hope that you all are safe and well, and I cannot wait to see everyone again.
