Freedom High School’s Seal of Biliteracy
The California Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. The requirements are that the recipients have studied the second language a minimum of four years, have a minimum of a B average in a second language, a C average in English, and a minimum of 3 on the English SBAC.
In the presence of family and friends, all recipients of the Seal of Biliteracy who attended the ceremony are awarded a medal for their achievement. They are invited to wear the medal on their gowns at graduation. All the World Language teachers at Freedom High School extend their warmest congratulations to all our graduates who have achieved Seal of Biliteracy!
