    Extension Activity:
    Find an organization that is working in Nicaragua [to try to find an organization in the city you are traveling to].
     
    Some example organizations in Nicaragua: Fabretto
    ...or search Google keywords (NGO, “your city name”, charity, volunteer, development projects, etc.)
    • What is their mission?
    • What problem are they trying to solve?
    • How are they attempting to solve it?
    • Are they having any success?
    • Where do they get their funding?
    • What type of leadership is this organization demonstrating?
    Write you answers in your reflection journal..

    There will be times during our trip with Global Glimpse that we experience very similar living situations.  Don't be alarmed by their lack of medical resources, though.  We will have more immediate access to health care which is covered by international insurance through Global Glimpse.
