    DISTANCE LEARNING LETTER

    Welcome to distance learning. Hope your family is healthy and safe. 

    Assignments - Weekly assignment are posted and ready to download from Freedom High School website from the Online/Distance Learning Section. Algebra 1 Assignments are accessed on Math; Algebra 1 Tab and/or from my teacher website.  Access Sport Med Assignment under Online/Distance Learning - Elective tab and/or from my teacher website. Additional resources and optional assignments may be added to my teacher website to help make good use of your time sheltering in place. ** If you need material printed, contact your building administrator Monday, for Pick up on Tuesday between 9AM - 12:00 noon & 1:00pm - 3:00 pm.] REQUEST FOR PICK UP MADE AFTER MONDAY, WILL NOT BE READY FOR PICK-UP UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MONDAY.

    Turning-in Assignments - Assignment are due on Monday the following week assigned and may be turned in by any of the following methods. 1) For Algebra ONLY, Completing the assignment online using Clever.com/Math Big Ideas/ Algebra 1 [Preferred method.]  2) Email picture of assignment showing your work to briggsg@luhsd.net.  3) Dropping assignment off at Freedom High School during scheduled drop off times. TUESDAY from 9:00 am to 12 noon and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. TUESDAY IS THE ONLY DROP OF PERIODS.

    Student Help & Communication - Students can email questions. As soon as possible,  I will respond with either an email answer or zoom access code with scheduled meeting time to help student individually or in a small group. 

    Class Zoom Meeting –Class zoom meeting may be scheduled from time to time. These are optional.  Watch your email for meeting invitations with date, time and access code. [This info will not be posted online for security reasons.] I may do a short lesson or might just give the student a chance to ask open questions. I will record lesson and post on my teacher website.
