Successful High School Experience
What can you do as a parent?
- Access Parent Portal and canvas often to check grades
- Communicate with teachers
- Check Daily Planner and encourage its usage for every period
- For some students, have the teacher initial daily planner for accuracy
- Use our weekly progress reports found in each SLC office (or download here)
- Encourage your student to attend our after-school HELP Club (3:30- 5:00 pm in the library, room MC205)
- Encourage the utilization of Patriot Plus (every Thursday from 11:16 am-12:06 pm)
- Have your student study in a visible area while doing homework
- Encourage Involvement in clubs, sports, theatre or other school activities
- Be positive and supportive of your student’s needs
