    Food Deliveries: Heritage High is a closed campus, therefore NO food may be delivered by outside vendors including Door Dash, GrubHub, etc.

    ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY: March 12, 1912 – First-ever Girl Scouts meeting is held in Savannah, Ga. The organization has grown to 2.7 million members.

    ALL STUDENTS:  If you have failed a core/required class or if you received a D and wish grade improvement, please see your counselor to obtain the summer school form.  Deadline is March 15 for 1st semester. (Dalton 3/15)

     

    Do you need practice for the ACT?  We are offering a Pre ACT test on Wednesday, April 10 at 8:15 am.  The cost is $15.00 and students can register in the student store. Space is limited and fee waivers are available in the College & Career Center. (Snyder 3/15)

     

    Accounting Career Awareness Program: Are you a student of color that is interested in pursuing accounting, business or finance as a major?  ACAP the Accounting Career Awareness Program will be running a one week camp at Cal Berkeley for underrepresented students for FREE.  This is open to juniors, sophomores and freshmen who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.0.  IF interested log onto the College and Career Center webpage under University of California for application details.  (Flores 4/24)

     

    EVENTS/HAPPENINGS

     

    HOMEWORK HELP! Every Monday to Thursday at 3:15 to 4:45 pm in Room C-111! If you need help with your homework or just a place to access a computer for your assignments, just come by and get some support.

     

    Attention all seniors! Starting on February 5th Los Medanos College will be offering a College Success class at Heritage High School.  If you will be attending LMC next year and would like to get a jump start on how to be a successful student during your time in college (choosing majors, transferring to a 4-year college, maintaining good grades), please see your counselors immediately and speak with your parents about enrolling in this class.  Those that take the class can receive 1.5 credits towards LMC, as well as 5 credits towards Heritage.  Students are required to meet every Tuesday and Thursday after school for the 9 weeks of the class (ends April 18th). Remember: Seniors will need to complete enrollment forms ASAP, as space in the class is limited. (Campos 4/18)

     

    S Club: Please come join our S Club, we are still taking new members! Tuesday, March 12th at lunch ES 103, we will have a guest speaker so don’t miss out!!! (Yancey 3/12)

     

    Scholarship Opportunity: Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority, Incorporated (ΛΣΓ) was founded on the campus of the Alpha chapter, California State University, Sacramento, in 1986. It is a multicultural sorority focused on community service and higher education for women.  They are offering a $500 scholarship towards college with the following requirements: 

    Must have a GPA 2.8 or above

    Must be a female and/or woman 

    Must complete a minimum of 10 hours of community service

     

    Seniors in Health Academy: Seniors who are in the Health Academy must show Ms. Rod in HR-105 proof of their CPR certification by April 5, 2019 if you would like to be recognized at graduation and Senior Awards night. Please see Ms. Davies in HR-103 for CPR certification. (Rodriguez 4/5)

     

    Junior Prom: Memories & Masquerade, Junior Prom is April 13th!  Tickets are available for sale in the Student Store March 6th to March 15th at lunch. Ticket prices before break are $55 for HHS Juniors and $60 for guest bids. Bid forms are available in each SLC office - Get your bids turned in for approval ASAP!! For those who procrastinate, tickets will be available after break April 1st-4th after school in the student store.  Ticket prices will increase $60 for HHS Juniors and $65 for guest bids. A permission slip or a bid is required for all who attend. Forms are available in each SLC office. (Heath 4/13)
