    Our Proquest databases are collections of scholarly journal articles and can be searched specifically for peer reviewed articles if needed.

     Proquest 

    This database is a "general interest" database with articles on a variety of topics.

    To log in from home, click on the link above.  When the "Find Your Library" box appears, click on More Access Options.  In the Proquest Account section, use the district login and password provided by the library staff or your teacher.

    We have "subject specific" databases for a variety of topics.  These databases are listed on our subject area web pages, listed on the right side of the screen.  For subject specific databases on a variety of topics, including literature, health & medicine, business and techology, science, education, psycology & more, click on the appropriate subject page to the right. 


    Tips for Searching Proquest Databases

     1. Always click the "Full Text" box on the search page.  If you forget, click the "Full Text" box on the left side of the results screen.

    2. To limit to peer reviewed articles, click the "Peer Reviewed" box on the search screen or on the left side of the results page.

    3. To search scholarly journals only, click on the "Scholarly Journals" option in the "Source Type" box on the left side of the page.

    4. To limit by date, use the options in the "Publication Date" box on the left side of the screen. 

    5. To view your recent searching, click on the "Recent Searches" link under the search box on the right side of the page.

    6. To get your citation, use the "Cite" icon (quotation marks) on the article page.  Be sure to choose the correct citation style (MLA vs APA).

    7. To save to Google Drive, click on the "All Options" icon under the search box on the right side of the screen.  Choose the Google Drive option.

    8. To create your own "My Research" account, click on the person icon in the upper right corner.  Use this to save articles, save searches, set up alerts, etc.
