      3. Remember you can also check out books from the public library.  They have some titles we don't have (see the list below), and you can also get a book from them if our copy is already checked out.  Click here for info on how to get books from the public library.

    Includes books about slavery and the genocide against Native Americans

    Includes books about Jim Crow, the Great Depression and World Wars I & II

    Books about the Civil Rights Movement, American Indian Movement and the Gay Rights movement in the late 20th century

    Civil Rights in the 21st Century

    Books about Civil Rights issues in the 21st century, including LGBTQ rights, Black Lives Matter and Immigration.

    If you want a book our library doesn't have, or if the book you want is checked out from our library, you may be able to get it from the public library.  They also have a much larger ebook collection.
