My United States History class is intended to be a unique learning situation, one which I believe I can learn as much from the students as they can learn from me. There will be individual and group assignments in this class to help students learn both the concepts of US History and the idea of collaboration. The best way to check your student's progress is to look at his/her notebook from time to time. Grades should be updated on a daily basis and, with the exception of some tests/quizzes and larger assignments, should be up-to-date at all times. Our units of study will be: Early America to the Civil War & Reconstruction; The Industrial Revolution & the Progressive Movement; Imperialism; World War II; The Cold War; The Turbulent 60's; and Modern America.
