    Yearbook prices rising starting April 1st. You can purchase your books now at yearbookordercenter.com or at the student store. Amount of books available are limited, first come first serve. (Prado, 4/1)

     

    Class of 2020 and Parents, Senior Ball is coming soon! Tickets on sale: Online: April 2nd-April 13th Student Store: April 13th –April 17th $70.00 for seniors and $100.00 for Guests. The Senior Ball is May 16th aboard the Hornblower Fleet of ships via “The Belle” in San Francisco. More info to follow after the March break, stay tuned! (Cook, 4/1)

     

    The Spring Choir Showcase is coming up on Wednesday, April 2nd at 7PM in the theater.  Tickets are $5 at the door. (Shanker, 4/2)

     

    HOMEWORK HELP! Every Monday to Thursday at 3:15 to 4:45 pm in Room MC-205 (ExCEL LAB in the Library)! If you need help with your homework or just a place to access a computer for your assignments, just come by and get some support.

     

    COLLEGE & CAREER:

     

    Are you considering taking the ACT?  Then why not consider taking a practice ACT on Wednesday, April 8th at 8am.  Students can register in the HHS Student Store, or visit the HHS web store.  Cost is $20.00 or fee waivers are available from the College & Career Center.     Ivy & pearl foundation is offering scholarships for high school African or African American seniors. Deadline is March 31st. for complete info visit HHS webpage under scholarships. (Gates, 3/31)

     

     

    Applications are now being accepted for the U.S. Naval Academy Summer Seminar and STEM programs. Both are available on the USNA Admissions website.

    Summer Seminar is for students who are currently juniors in high school. STEM is for students who are currently 9thor 10th grade. Find information on heritage website click on “military” under college and career. (Gates & Snyder)

     

    Local scholarship is specifically for African American boys in Alameda and Contra Costa. The application deadline is April 15. 

    The Diablo Black Men's Group is committed to empowering young African American males and has provided more than $195,000 in scholarship monies to deserving students since 2008.
