Beginning Art
A course for novice art students, Beginning Art is the only class which, upon successful completion, will enable the student to enter other fine art or advanced crafts classes in the following years. This course introduces the student to basic elements of art and principles of design concepts – harmonious relationships between line, value, color, texture, and form – using a wide variety of materials to create art projects. Sketchbook assignments and research projects will also be given.
This class meets once a week at the following times:
Wednesdays from 10:50 AM to 12:10 PM
Thursdays from 12:40 PM to 2:00 PM
Supplies we will be working with during the school year include the following:-
Pencil (graphite) and eraser

It is important to be present for class - class time + work done is equivalent to one week's worth of work.
