I graduated from UC Davis in 1989 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Education. I received my teaching credential from CSU Chico in 1990. I taught math and language arts in middle school during my first few years of teaching, then I discovered independent study at Vista Alternative HS in Fremont. I love working with students one-on-one! I moved to Brentwood in 2002 and worked for BUSD as a teacher and director of Independent Study. I took a five-year leave from teaching from 2008-2013 to work as the Area Director of Delta Young Life, a non-profit Christian organization for local youth. My position as the teacher for the Bridgeway GED program is a perfect fit for me! In addition to that, I also teach Leadership and Work Experience and I love it!
These are a few of my favorite things: my family, my job, living in Brentwood, Cornerstone Fellowship, camping, traveling,Young Life and finding out that one of my students passed the GED!
