This is a one-semester course at IHS, worth 5 credits. The class is designed for students who are interested in learning about various foods, cooking, and nutrition. The course emphasizes the importance of making good food choices, planning meals, buying food, and utilizing basic food preparation techniques. Since our school does not have a cooking facility, preparing and cooking food at home is a requirement of the course.
Absence Policy: Attendance and class participation are required. If a student is absent, he/she may complete the assignment through Canvas.
