    Graduation Requirements
    • Independence High School Diploma--230 credits
    • Liberty Adult Diploma-- 190 credits
    • One hundred and fifty-five (155) of the credits must be selected to meet minimum content/subject area requirements (see chart below).
    • Courses may be used only once to meet graduation requirements.
    • Students must pass district benchmarks.
    • Independence High School and Liberty Adult School gradutaes can participate in the Independence High School ceremony. All participants may wear a cap and gown.
    • In order to earn a comprehensive high school diploma, students must attend their fianl semester at that comprehensive site and meet the 270 credit requirement.
