College Prep; Fulfills one year of English or elective ("g") requirement for UC/CSU.
English 9 is a core literature-based Language Arts course integrating literature, writing, grammar, mechanics, speaking and listening, vocabulary development, reading skills and study skills. Common core and district/state standards are incorporated throughout the curriculum.
