    Q: Does my student need his/her ID to buy a lunch?

    A: Yes, all students will be required to swipe their ID card in order to get a free breakfast and lunch. Students can buy a second lunch or a la carte snacks and drinks as well using cash, check or parents or students can add money to their ID card at https://family.titank12.com/

     

    Q:  How can I pay with a credit card?

    A:  You can pay with credit cards at https://family.titank12.com/  to add money to the students ID card or can pay with cash or check during lunch. Even if you choose to pay with cash or check, you can still sign up to at https://family.titank12.com/ to track your student’s meals and balance.

     

    Q:  My student is under the Free and Reduced program, is this kept confidential?
    A:  The Free and Reduced Lunch program is completely confidential.  With Universal Meals, students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch daily, but the application free and rewduced eligibility helps qualify the school for more funding and can help families with additional programs like transportation or AP exam waivers.

     

    Q: Do I need to reapply for the Free & Reduced lunch Program if I already applied last year?

    A: Yes, Federal law mandates that everyone reapply every school year. Each student receives a 30 day grace period in order to reapply for the new school year. 

     

    Q: If my student transfers from another school district, do I need to reapply?

    A: Yes, all students must fill out the Liberty Union School District Lunch Application since each school district needs to maintain records. Also, if you have a student that goes to Brentwood Unified School District and one that goes to Liberty Union School District, you must fill out both the Brentwood and the Liberty Lunch forms.
