March 15th, 2024
Today’s lunch is grilled cheese with chips. For lunch purposes, students can use a paper ID temporarily, but are expected to follow up at the student store for a permanent ID. A physical ID (not paper) is necessary for sporting events and other activities on campus. (3/15)

Good morning, Class of 2025! Junior prom bid forms and permission slips are now available in your den. You can pick them up before or after school, and during lunch. Please allow 2 days for bid processing. March 15th is the last day of our Flash Sale. Permission slips and approved bid required to attend, ticket will be void and no refund will be given if not returned by April 24th. This week, tickets for Juniors are $35 and bid tickets are $50. Today is the last day Junior and bid tickets can be purchased separately by the attending Junior if purchasing online. Normal sales will resume after break. Non Par list will apply. No refunds if on the list. Prices will go up when we return from break so don’t wait! (3/15)

April 12th is National Day of Silence. Started in the mid 90’s by two college students, Day of Silence has expanded to reach hundreds of thousands of students each year. Every April, students would go through the school day without speaking, ending the day with Breaking the Silence rallies to bring attention to ways their schools and communities can become more inclusive. Day of Silence is a nationally-recognized student-led demonstration where LGBTQ+ students and allies all around the country—and the world— protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ+ people in schools. Interested in participating or showing support in this year’s day? Come to A108 on April 2nd @ lunch. See Mrs. Seipel with any questions. (3/14-4/2)
The College and Career Center will be hosting a Los Medanos Summer Application workshop on April 24th this is open to 9th, 10th, and 11th graders! If you're interested in taking a summer class at LMC stop by the Career Center to sign up! (2/23-4/23)

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be having a March Gladness Huddle today at lunch in the old gym. Pizza is provided for those attending, but the doors close at 11:45, so don’t be late. All are welcome to join us! (3/12-3/14)

Culture Shock will be having an informational meeting about the 2024 Showcase of Culture and Fashion at lunch in the PAC on Wednesday, March 13.
