Scholarship Opportunities Scholarships
scholarship information for a complete listing of available scholarships (and there are many!) check with christina salinas or donecia norwood-smith in the college and career center. students are encouraged to look in the scholarship file in the college and career center on a regular basis as the drawer is updated weekly with new scholarships! local scholarship 2017 click below for the lhs local scholarship application (2 files) local scholarship - scholarship criteria the application is a fillable application. when saving, the first time the file must be saved under a new name. save the file and reopen the file in the adobe application. please note there will be sections that will be hand written once copies have been made. please type directly into the application. the scholarship list has been updated with new scholarships. please re-look at the criteria list for the new scholarships. you may hand write any new scholarships onto the check off list that has already been started. please note: “if an luhsd senior is attending multiple luhsd schools (e.g., fhs & hhs), he/she can only submit a local scholarship application to the high school that he/she will be graduating from. the only exception to this is if the student participates in a specialty program that offers a specialty scholarship (i.e., rop program, etc.). if that scholarship is only offered at the student’s “non-graduating school,” he/she may apply for the specific scholarship at the secondary school, but not other site specific scholarships. for further clarification, please speak to the college & career center coordinators.” other forms that can assist you to complete your local scholarship application: activity sheet *please see ms. salinas or mrs. norwood-smith in b-3 for additional scholarships or questions regarding the local scholarships. please keep in mind scholarships can
