This year, Liberty High will participate in the American Mathematics Contest (AMC) 12 "B" version, and AMC 10 "B" version.
*The test is a timed 75 minute test, that will take place at 8:00 AM in the PAC.
*Each version (10 and 12) have 25 multiple choice questions.
Each contest is designed to be interesting and challenging.
There will be questions covering topics new to the contestants to see how students use what they know to solve it.
Scoring
-- 6 points for correct answer.
--1.5 points for blank answer
--0 points for an incorrect answer.

for student with highest score (in 10 and 12)
--Honor Roll of Distinction Pen
for top 1% of all participants.
--Gold Metal
for participants who place first in their school for four consecutive years.
--Silver/Bronze Medals
for participants who place first in their school for 3/2 consecutive years.
--Certificate of Distinction
for participants who qualify for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME)
score of 120 points and/or top 2.5% of all scorers on the AMC 10.
score of 100 points to the AIME and/or top 5% of all scorers on the AMC 12.
--State Ward Winner Plaque
for highest score in the state (in 10 and 12)
--Large AMC Plaque
for each participant with a perfect score
--Small AMC Plaque
for each participant with the highest score in the region (not a perfect score)
