NEW A+ FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN BEGINS

Running through 2020, POPs (Parents of Playmakers) is spearheading another A+ Fundraising Campaign to help upgrade the Allan E. Jones Performing Arts Center at Liberty High School!

 We are selling name plates at $50 each to be permanently affixed to the arm rests in the PAC. Your plate can have up to three lines, each with up to 20 characters/spaces per line.

 Businesses, service clubs and individual donors who donate $500 or more will have their name on the 2020 A+ plaque that will be affixed to a wall of the lobby in the building.

 This is a wonderful way that you, your family or a loved one can be a permanent part of the building for future generations to see.

 Even though this campaign is spearheaded by the Parents of Playmakers, the upgrades to the building are beneficial to all of the programs that use it.

Thus far, A+ Funds have purchased:

• The communication system between the Box Office and patrons.
• For the LED light system:
• Several of the lighting instruments.
• A portion of the new light console
• Hardware in the console to support the touch screen monitors to efficiently run the software.
• Computers, accessories and peripherals for the system.
• A portion of our new projector system which will allow for images to be projected on the cyclorama (back white curtain) enhancing theatrical productions and dance recitals as well as events such as Mr. Liberty and Liberty Idol.

 Potential future A+ Fund purchases might include:

• An auxiliary speaker system to enhance the sound in the performing arts center.
• Replacement of microphones and wireless body mics.
• A mid-stage scrim.
