COVID-19 Announcements & Resources


In order to reopen safety, the California Department of Public Health requires that districts publish to their website a COVID-19 Safety Plan.  In addition, the State requires that districts be in the Red Tier for five (5) consecutive days before schools may reopen.  

The State of California Safe Schools For All Hub explicitly states that school district COVID-19 Safety Plans will consist of the below two (2) components:

LUHSD, in collaboration with Contra Costa Health Services will be offering COVID vaccinations for students, students’ family members, district employees and employees’ family members:
