    BREAKFAST/LUNCH: A hot breakfast and lunch of a variety of items and daily specials are served every day. Choose from pizza, deli sandwiches, chicken burger, salads and fruit/yogurt parfaits plus Fruit/veggies/white or chocolate milk. Today’s special is: Spaghetti with meat sauce

    COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER NEWS:

    Job posting -Do you like preforming? Are you outgoing, silly, funny, and work good with children? Or maybe you just like to run the show? Then Gloria's Unique Creations and Costume Rentals is looking for you and is now hiring. You must be at least 16 to apply. Pick up a flyer in the College and Career Center to apply! (1/19)

     

    Not sure what to do after High School?

    The Career Center is offering an ASVAB test on January 24, at 8:00 a.m. This test is more than an entrance exam for the military, but a great opportunity to explore careers and identify your skills and strengths. The test is open to 10, 11 and 12 grade. Students can sign up in the Career Center (1/19)

     

    SOPHOMORES:  The Buck Fellows Scholarship Program is offering amazing scholarship opportunities for students who have high academic aptitude, strong character, and a commitment to improving their communities, but lack the resources, support and guidance to fully realize their goals.  This program is designed to provide mentorship, funding for summer enrichment programs such as travel to a foreign country, wilderness expeditions, academic programs on a college campus, academic support, extremely generous  financial support, local college visits, college application guidance and assistance with choosing a major and managing all deadlines for applications.  Please come to the College & Career Center for more information or go to the following link to read more about the Buck Fellows Scholarship Program.  www.buckscholars.org (1/19)

     

    SENIORS: The Local Scholarship Application is available online on the LHS school website on the College & Career Center tab.  Applications should be typed.  Any questions, please see Mrs. Perkins or Ms. Salinas in B-3.  Completed applications are due Friday, 2/2 by 4:00 pm to the College & Career Center.(1/31)

     

    SENIORS PLANNING TO ATTEND LMC NEXT FALL have the opportunity to take a FREE Class here on our Liberty campus on how to be successful in college.  You will earn high school elective credits and college elective credits.  Please come to Den 4 at lunch or after school for more information.   Space is limited…so first come first serve!  (Ms. Abono 1/19)

     

    Hey everyone: Did you get A’s and B’s on your grade report last semester? Do you plan to go to college? You should join CSF and NHS! Please come to N-18 for more information and an application. And remember, ALL students must RE-APPLY EVERY Semester, so if you were a member last semester, or last year, you must re-apply NOW to maintain your membership! (1/19)

     

    Our first BLOOD DRIVE of 2018 is here.  It will take place on Monday, January 22 in the PAC. If you are 17 or older, you can sign up to donate blood, or you can be 16 with Parent Permission.  Sign-ups take place at lunch in room D2.  (1/19)

     

    COURSE SELECTION FOR NEXT YEAR: On Tuesday 1/24 and Thursday 1/26 students will be released from class to sign up for courses: Tuesday Den 1 and 2 Juniors will come to the PAC during 6th period. Den 3 and 4 Juniors will come to the PAC during 7th period. Thursday, Den 1 and 2 Sophomores will come to the PAC during 5th period. Den 3 and 4 Sophomores will come to the PAC during 8th period. Please make sure to come the PAC during your assigned presentation after we make the loud speaker announcement. You will not need to bring anything other than yourself and your ID card.     SUMMER SCHOOL APPLICATIONS are available in your Den Office before school, at lunch and after school for students who have failed a course needed for graduation or college eligibility.  (3/16)
