    The objectives of JROTC are to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility, character, and self-discipline, and provide instruction in air and space fundamentals.
    The AFJROTC program is grounded in the Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. The curriculum emphasizes the Air Force heritage and traditions, the development of flight, applied flight sciences, military aerospace policies, and space exploration.

     Instructor Bio

    Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Thomas E. Sparaco was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He graduated from Purdue University and earned his commission in 1988.  In 1998, he earned a Masters of Science Degree in International Relations from Troy State University.

    Lieutenant Colonel Sparaco was a career Logistics Readiness Officer and has held positions as:   Commander of the 555th International Logistics Squadron responsible for conducting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply, transportation and distribution operations; Chief, Performance Based Logistics, Defense Supply Center Columbus of the Defense Logistics Agency; Chief of Supply Operations for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency; Deputy Commander, Detachment 1 Aeronautical Systems Center; and Politico-Military Affairs Officer, Headquarters Third Air Force. 

    Lieutenant Colonel Sparaco is married to Kathleen Paige Sparaco and has three daughters Francesca, Sarah, and Hannah.
