• GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

    The following requirements must be met in order to receive a diploma from the Liberty Union High School District:


    Course Requirements

    (10 Units = 1 year)

    Students must pass 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade levels

    a. One year of World History (10)

    b. One year of U.S. History (11)

    c. One semester of American Government (12)

    d. One semester of Economics (12)

    World Cultures & Geography:

    Freedom H. S. requires one year at the 9th grade level

    Mathematics:

    Students must pass three years of mathematics with completion of Algebra through Geometry 1A.

    a. One year of Life Science (Biology)

    b. One year of Physical Science (Earth Science, Chemistry or Physics.)

    Physical Education:

    a. One year of 9th grade P.E.

    Students must take one semester of health education.

    Graduation Requirements

    In order to graduate and earn a diploma, students must (1) complete 270 credits and (2) complete the required course of study as noted above. Students who do not fulfill all of these requirements are not eligible to graduate from Freedom High School.
