Project: Create a pamphlet about toddlers using information from our textbook*.*YOU MAY NOT COPY ANY INFORMATION WORD-FOR-WORD. ALL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN YOUR PROJECT MUST BE IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
Particulars: Printer size paper, 8 ½ x 11 inches, folded in thirds (landscape orientation).You must use both text and pictures (NEATLY handwritten in ink or typed).Make sure your brochure has a FRONT COVER and includes all required information, plus the bibliographic citation for where you got the information: Brisbane, H. The Developing Child (2016), pp. 294-314. Remember: Title, Your Name & Period, AND the bib citation need to be on the FRONT.REQUIRED INFORMATION TO INCLUDE IN PAMPHLET:* Physical growth chart with heights and weights at 1-3 years of age (p. 294).
* Lists of large/gross and small/fine motor skills for each age (12-18mo, 18-24mo, 24-30mo, and 30-36mo; p. 298).* Tips for parenting and caring for toddlers in these required areas: Sleeping (pp. 302-303), Feeding (pp. 303-306), Bathing (p. 310), Teeth (pp. 310-311), Dressing (pp. 312-314), and Toilet Training (pp. 311-312).
* Health/parenting advice for parents of toddler: vaccinations, medical/dental check-ups, recommendations for limiting TV, etc. Include these if you have space available.
* You will lose points if you have blank areas on your brochure or panels with just pictures and no text. There are SIX panels total: one for your title, name, period, citation, etc. The other five panels must contain all of the required information in a visually appealing, organized, professional manner. Sloppy, below grade-level standard final draft will earn a maximum C- (70%). Incomplete pamphlets or pamphlets without proper bibliographic citation will earn 1pt.
