Independence High School provides services to identified students with disabilities. These specialized instruction and tutorial services are intended to address the unique needs of each student, regardless of the type of the disability. A general education teacher, special education teacher, paraprofessional, related service provider, or any combination of staff may provide the instructional support services. A student's special education services/program and placement at Independence is determined by an Individual Education Plan team.
