Preseason conditioning will begin on Monday, October 14, 2019 and run through December 20, 2019. All players are required to have a signed waiver in order to participate. **NO EXCEPTIONS** The waiver can be accessed by clicking here.
Preseason Conditioning schedule is as follows: Every Monday beginning October 14, 2019 with the last session on December 16, 2019 from 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm at Liberty High School Weight Room (Room K8). Please wear appropriate gym attire and bring water. Every Wednesday & Friday in October from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Oak Meadow Park located at 180 Crawford Drive. Be sure to bring appropriate work out attire, running shoes, and water. Every Wednesday and Friday From November 1, 2019 through December 20, 2019 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm (or sunset). Be sure to bring appropriate work out attire, running shoes, and water.
*TENTATIVE* Practice schedule: It is anticipated practices will begin in January 2020 and be held every Monday, Wednmesday, and Friday from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Location is pending. Information will be sent when available.
There will be multiple check periods throughout the season. Players will receive the grade check forms at designated practices, and will be expected to turn them into the coaches on the specified date.
If a player is currently involved in a fall sport, please complete that sport's season & obligations prior to starting rugby. The player will still need to register with rugby on Athletic Clearance. Please see the Athletic Clearance page for more details.
The first game of the season is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 29, 2020. Play-offs are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2020, and the championship games being tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2020. Specific dates, locations, match times, and division teams will be announced when they are released to the coaches by Rugby NorCal. There wil lbe home and away contests. Games are usually played on Friday evenings or Saturdays.
By its nature, rugby is difficult to schedule. Several things contribute to this unpredictability; all of which are outside of the club's control. It is frustrating for everyone involved. We ask for your patience and understanding during these times.
